Nautical Madesco Block & Tackle Double Pulley & Rare Split Sister Hook Single.
A rare to find together set of pulleys. Antique nautical block and tackle equipment. Made of wood and steel. Includes one Madesco double pulley, one single pulley with “sister” hook, which is the split hook you see in the photos, and approximately 50’ of rope. The split type of hook is primarily seen in nautical equipment. The crescent moon insignia stamped into the pulley is also indicative of seamanship.
The double Madesco pulley has an ID plate bearing the following: Madesco Products, Philadelphia, Marine Decking & Supply Co., and a triangle symbol.
